Ive enjoyed them so far!

Id say the AI is sufficiently kicking our arse in normandy ;) But to fly against a human squad would be very fun as well!

Page updated, lemme know if youve got frontline shots, i'll be wandering around all day :p

Looks great. Can you get Up-N-At-'em in one line in the main table?

Another Tough Night in Normandy

Post by :FI:TacticalS! » Sat Feb 19, 2005 7:44 am

Had a great time with my mates; just a lousy time in flight! :? Enjoyed those bombing raids - we had A-20s, Beaufighters and B-24s available.

Anyway, I'm going to lessen the German "bounce" for next time mates. That should help address those nasty "two seconds and YOUR dead encounters." ;)

Napier here's the maps for the Webpage -

Post by :FI:TacticalS! » Sat Feb 19, 2005 5:24 pm

Someone asked about scoring in IL-2. Here's a good link for your information - http://www.sturmovik.de/index.php3?open=tut_score_a" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Ahhh, I know it was a cheap shot on a Storch, but it still counts as a kill, right? :(

BTW, thanks for having me again, sorry I had to bug out early. I'll try to make it tonight if I can, Tact.

I do remember that mate. Didn't see it in the log file but sometimes these errors occur. I'll be happy to add it in Sendero. :) The log did give you 10 points which makes perfect sense (Air Kill + KIA = 10% of 100 points).

--------

I'll drop by tonight at 10:00 p.m. should anyone be around and want to play for just an hour. I will have the altitude difference between the Germans and Allies less significant and no poor weather to increase visibility.

Regards,
TactS!

should be all updated m8, might wanna check my math and such, im very tired  I did have fun last night, i showed those 190s inthe last missions. You should all try the b25 sometimes, alot of fun formation flying and bombing. We should all run one mission together....perhaps i'll see you m8s tonight!

Actually we did do a couple bombing runs, including one involving Helo as the pilot and Igor and I as his gunners. But we died - stupid Helo. :D I actually starting to really enjoy the break from fighters.

---------

With regards to the Normandy webpage, could you place Up's name on one line. Also, if you have time I notice that some of the headings in the tables are left justified or centered. Pick one Napier. :D

At least I don't cook all day and get real FAT in that New York restaurant of yours (though that sounds like a nice way to go "out" :D ).
