Sendero wrote:I would love to join in if it's possible. I'm sure y'all could use some target practice. :D If it's not FI only (since I'm new) I would like to give it a go. I would need a little assistance though, like the server address and Team Speak address.
Love to see you join us mate!

Our Wednesday session starts at 10:00 p.m. Atlantic time (8:00 p.m. Central Time).

We meet in HyperLobby in the Team Play area usually.

Just search for any :FI: mates in the Player Lists and add them to your Friend's List. You can join even after we launch as long as we are in between missions.

-----------

Not sure of the protocol with regards to TeamSpeak. Perhaps an official :FI: person will come along and confirm whether you can jump onto TS with us. After you hear our voices you may wish you never had.

Anyway, hope to see you there this Wednesday or next (or whenever you can make it :D ).

Perfect, my kids are in bed by 8pm central. I'll be there. I understand about the Team Speak issue. I sort of expected it, but I thought I would ask. I actually haven't used TS in a while. I would need to download it again so if someone comes along to say I can join in TS, is it the lastes version?

Yes. If you are interested in joining the squad download TS anyway.

We like to give folks interested in joining the squad the opportunity to fly with us at least a couple of times to ensure YOU are sure about US mate.

Had fun tonight guys. It was nice flying with Genosse, Sendero, PsychClone, and the regulars Snoop, Napier and Helo.

Sorry for the couple of non-action missions. :( For what's it's worth Gen the missions prior to your arrival and afterwards worked fine. Maybe you were a bad influence mate. ;) Seriously, I hope we get a chance to fly again soon Gen.

Congrats to all the folks that got kills and awards tonight. SnoopBaron received both the Order of Red Banner of the Order of the Red Star in the last mission. He now has a total of 7 Victories. =D] Napier and I couldn't be more proud of our little Snoop. :D

I'll e-mail the stats to Napier tomorrow evening. Also, I'll take a look at those couple missions to see what went wrong and hopefully make the necessary adjustments.

Until next week my Kursk comrades, take care and fly straight! 8)

I had a blast guys. That was the first time I had flown on a mission with other real people. Never even flown all the way from base, usually hit autopilot and fastforward, lol. I'm obviously new to HyperLobby also. Sorry for the noobness and for getting lost a few times. I'm trying to get the hang of it. But I really enjoyed the whole experience. Really made those couple of kills mean something. I have a few noob questions. I heard y'all several times refer to numpad and some number. I understood the G-10 and stuff on the map, but I couldn't find the numpads. I assume numpads are the different zones in a particulater block, like G-10 but I'm not sure. Again, thanks for having me. I look forward to doing it again.

Good flyin with you too sendero. When we refer to "sector H 11, keypad or numpad 1" we mean we are in that grid, H-11, on the minimap, and if that block were broken down into sectors, numpad 1 would be the bottom left of the grid, 4 the center left, 7 the top left. Hope this helps.

We also do another campaign on Fridays in normandy. Its similar but with different plane sets similar to those found during the invasion and so on :) Hope to see you there!
