Hey Falcon you should include a compass indication on the map as frequent repetition of this journey has been known to cause disorientation ;)

why a circle?

to discourage Moog from coming up behind me and gettin' me with his rifle butt!

Rgrt! Always check your six (pack) when I'm around ;)

Any of you who were online on Saturday night will know that I RUM very quickly and RUM a lot (as in half a litre - man I think I was still drunk from it this morning)

Didn't :O~ though, just felt :O{ all day ("and all of the night")

Seriously though, there are some talented folks in the FI. Wouldn't it be cool if the Platoon had it's own 'home' map? It could be a brewery with a big vat in it, and a bar outside. I'm sure we could edit the weapons mod so that if you were near or in the vat then the blurry shellshock effect would happen. Hell, if it were really an FI map then it'd be blurry the whole time!

We could call it 'Publin' or 'Drunkbuster' or something

Well, I was interested in making some CoD maps. Then I mentioned it online, and Gen was so mean he said it was very hard and complicated. He started using big words like scripting and then my eyes glazed over and I found myself staring into space (again).

Sadly, maybe it is too complicated. :( Still those maps look incredible. I especially was impressed with that map featuring a very (very) high bridge structure.

P.S. I'll stick to FMB in IL-2.

Just a wee bit I think Stovies. :^o

Ok, if I quite my job, send the family away for a 6-month vacation, read and re-read the tutorial (and a dictionary), I think I can make one medium-sized building.

You guy's up for a match within one building? It will have a fireplace and table - might even have a door (though it will not go anywhere until I learn how to texture the grass).

oh and try not to kick our as too badly Laughing

So M8's

Please give me som times ,maps and gametypes wand vote on how to react The HG's challenge..

Dutch

HG's

Dutch ansewer :

Hi mate

If you dont mind i want to set this up properly
so i want to do an anouncement for our platoon'(if you do so with your guys)

First there have to be some decisions to make within the platoon so if you ask your guys for a good playable time than i do that in the platoon
I was thinking over 1 or 2 weeks to stir everything up a little so will the excitement grow and give people some time to plan this ahead
comming thuesday is to short time in my oppinion

let me know your guys oppinon on the playground
and gametype
I suggest team deathmatch on the vitebsk map,

Dutch

Yeoman wrote back

oh tuesday and sat are good for us but it doesnt matter which week , il have some HG's download viebsk and try it out , see what they think , but it s a bit big

about the playgrounds , i recken my squad will enjoy a good old Tdm at casino Very Happy ill ask what else they might like

Dutch ansewered back:

yep let me know

casino is not my first thought

and the advantage of Vitebsk is that it is verry good for tdm and good action/tactics.

try it out with your m8's you'll see they grow into it

it's just another way of teamplay as if in smal maps
the real thing ais also not on a few square meters if you talk about realism
