Where I've been

So what have I been doing these last few years. I Went back to school got a degree as an architect & I'm working now as an engineer at a pharmaceutical company. I started cycling with a local team here in Cincinnati they took me but it was Kate they really wanted. I started racing cyclocross races & last October I fell & hit my head of a tree breaking my neck in 2 places, didn't know it at the time though and I got back on the bike and cycled to the ambulance (I had to hold my head in my hands to stop the pain) spent two months in traction. It's mostly healed now and I'm back cycling again trying to get back to the fitness level I had before I hugged the tree. I do miss the gaming but I don't have the time or computer and Katie would kill me if I ever broached the subject. Had a great time over the years with all y'all (local talk) hope ye all are well and life is treating ye well.

Good to hear from you Greg, alls good here, getting married next month, my time on the computer varies week to week, all dependant on domestic stuff.
If I remember rightly you hit enough trees in the old il2 game as well. Glad you made a recovery.

Pop in every now and then to let us know how your getting on.

Greg, ole bean!

Nice to see you back live and ... cycling, matey! ;) :D

I know that you are an Irish stubborn pigheaded fellow but you're not indestructible. Jeez, as an architect you need to take care of you head/brain since it's your main working tool, right? Nonetheless, I'm glad to read that you've recovered from your cycle accident. By the way, I took a look on Google and found this site ... is this your cycle team?

I could bet that Kate is glad to see you working and earning some money but don't you think there might be a tiny chance that you could get back gaming again? For once in awhile, or so? As you know, the more active pilots we have e.g. on Sunday the better ...

No pressure, Greg. I know that life can be full of reasonable compromises ... ;)

Cheers, mate! ^:)

Hi Greg

Well I had you down as "missing presumed dead" but never dreamed how close that was to true

Glad to hear you made it through OK =D]

Would be great to see you online again, but that domestic stuff has a way of getting in the way :(

Nice of you to pop in anyway, all the best. :D

Hi Greg,

glad the neck injury wasn't too bad. Tow months in traction though was a long time.

I'v reduced the flying time as well, hard to fit everything in.

Keep in touch.

Wow Greg, good to hear from you, I'm glad you are OK! Congrats on the degree and the new job :). I recall that it was an arm injury that got you started flying IL2? I have a lot of good memories of chatting and flying with you :) Take it easy old friend :)
