Not sure what this issue you have with Pe2 an boonty box?
If you have the 1946 DVD then it doesn't use it?
Clear the old stuff, the 1946 DVD has everything bar 1 patch. Pe2 shouldn't be an issue.
Delete all the reg entries and anything in the folders and just start a fresh.

Dear Gurb,
The only reason that I wanted Pe2 running is because I have a lot of bought campaigns eg eastern thunder which will not go into 1946 only into 4.05. When it stopped working I still have it on the drive so that I can put the campaigns on and then tranfer the files with the integrety intact. I have now cleared 1946 off completely and ran CrapCleaner and AWC and now in the process of defraging. Then I will try to reinstall.
