It's working, it's actually working. I am online sending this message from my new, personally built pc. Unbelievable.
Thanks to everyone for all of your help along the way, I'm sure there will be more help needed. I can overclock the processor and video, so questions abound when I tackle those.
This is amazing, hurray! Yes, the boot promt just needed an installation disc to boot from, once it had something it was fine. I've gone back into the bios and changed things back too.

Thanks all, and a big thanks to all my helpers and advisers out there...Falcon, Sneaky, Gadje, Mikester, Helo, and anyone else I'm forgetting (been watching too many award ceremonies).
RoF is in the next day or two and CoD end of May when released in the states. Still have lots more to install (TrackIR, Teamspeak, Joystick and throttle, etc.). The check engine light on the van just came on, so that may hinder RoF, but fingers crossed it won't be a big deal.
