Effect of different propellers

Post by :FI:Genosse » Thu Jan 27, 2011 5:51 am

Folks!

Maybe you've already have seen it already on the 1C's IL-2 forum: A2A Simulations give a general overview of the different kinds of propellers that can be loaded on the Accu-Sim Spitfire.

Enjoy! ^:)

Great level of detail there.

The accusim aircraft are very good study sims with modelled systems and full cockpit functionality. For Sing Along with Cliff Richard (or whatever) I think that Oleg is planning aircraft control more in the style of IL2. He did say that the game engine is capable of full systems simulation but they would most likely leave that to a 3rd party. As Microduff seem to have dropped flightsims I wonder if the likes of Accusim will migrate to Dover Sole Wars (or whatever) in the future ? If they do it means we can all buy the same planes twice !!.

modelled systems and full cockpit functionality
if I wanted to do this I would fly a real plane.

Horses for courses isn't it. As a kid I travelled a lot with my parents and developed a real soft spot for the Lockheed L10-11 Tristar. I got a good study sim for that and played it for hours. Closest thing I have now is probably FC2.

Looking at the more recent CoD updates it sounds like there will be more work involved in operating the aircraft than we might be used to in IL2 but Oleg has said throughout fully clickable and cockpits are not on the cards unless implimented by 3rd parties.
