Hey all,

Sable here - nice to meecha.

Have dabbled with IL2 for years, and loved it. However, never really got into the MP aspect, and feel I'm missing out! Am very rusty but looking to have fun, get upto speed and hopefully be of some use, especially with SoW coming out (allegedly...)

Would like to jump on and see how we all get on - famously one hopes.

Am in London, but my mum's from Dungarvan, so hope that helps! ;)

Am running the steam version of IL2 - is this the mod required:

Another aspirant who´s willing to join our wee group of serious, lethal and well organized pilots which is looking for gaining supremacy in Oleg´s aerial world 'n stuff. Prepare yourself for the toughest training sessions in your life ... :roll: #-o

Well, if you´re looking for this kind of squadron then you might continue your search for another one since we´re the FIS and we don´t take ourselves that seriously. Having interesting sessions and sometimes some good laughs while getting our a****s handed over is what the majority of us is looking for. But there´re some amongst us who tend to be real (semi-)professionals, too ... :-s

Anyhow, if you like to join us you need to download the lastest version of Teamspeak and Hyperlobby. For most sessions you don´t need to have any mods installed: 4.09m is currently the version we use.

If there´s no announcement on the BB about an upcoming session just join us on TS (you´ll get the contact details) and find out which IP number you´ll need to join a game. Usually we do fly on Wednesdays (1930 BST) and Sundays (1930 BST) but there´re a few FIs on Hyperlobby also midweeks.

That´s all so far ...

Hello and welcome to the forum.

You won't do anything wrong with the UP2.01 Modpack, as it's able to run as Stock 4.09m, HSFX or UP 2.01

If you fly today/Wednesday we may be flying VOW and that takes another step or two, but we can walk you thru that quickly.
