"He who warned, uh, the British that they weren't gonna be takin' away our arms, uh, by ringing those bells, and um, makin' sure as he's riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be sure and we were going to be free, and we were going to be armed."

Don't belive the hype! (Well I don't) I think it's more to do with the 3d program used. Would be interesting to see it run under Open GL. Sure DX11 allows more polys than DX10, but will BoB make use of it or will Oleg stick to Open GL?

See http://www.vimeo.com/7421222 for more info the video.

And yeah it's a cinematic - not gameplay.

Right Snee. When I was researching my new build, all that I read that DX11 did was add a few more particle and shader effects. Either a LOT has happened since last summer or ATI is trying to get some of it's lost market back.

Had a Command & Conquer 4 flavor to it. I'm Directx 11 ready just need the new Operating system and other hardware drivers, and new Video Card. Transition hopes to be effortless, not like my short Vista Experience.

Impressive vid , whatever it ran on.
Quite what DX11 will bring to actual game graphics remains to be seen, though there are better examples of its "nuts and bolts! on You tube and elsewhere.

I have read on the 1C Forums that they have decided to go DirectX Andrew.
