Hi Fightin' Irish, i posted on the ubisoft forums and Falcon referred me to this site and so i figured hey! why not look on the forums! I have been playing IL2 since Pacific Fighters came out and then shortly after 4.04m came out i took a break and then saw the 1946 was on sale and decided to pick it up, needless to say i loved it! It brings back great old memories of me and my squad mates and then i realized that none of my former squad mates play the game anymore, so i am in the process of looking for a new squad and i saw that the Fightin' Irish was here, and i said to myself that you guys seem like the perfect group for me! My name in real life is Patrick so obviously you can tell that i have some serious Irish blood in me(50% approx.) although i am from the USA. I would really love to join your excellent squad! I guess this is my application lol...

welcome Pactrick i spose your all moded up if not then you'll need to go and get mod 4.80 then go to AAA and download unified instasller 1.1, youll also need hyperloby and teamspeak but i guess you'll already have those other than that you'll need some free time and a joystick and your all set to go

Welcome! Yeah, we fly every Sunday at about 1:30 CT. On Wednesdays at the same time we have ... something brewin' and you can find us in HL too. Just look for the =FI= or :FI: prefix there. We have a lot of members who have been around since the beginning and we get new blood in on a regular basis, so there is little chance of the Fightin Irish peterin' out. As far as an application is concerned, there IS one. Go to the front page and press the "SQUADRON" button, read that bit there and click on the phrase application form somewhere in the text. I'll send you some additional info when you send that.
The forums are free for you to peruse and join in on any discussion.
