You can get PhotoShop (PS) on a free trial basis for a month ... somewhere. Google it. PaintshopPro (PSP) is almost as good. Full retail was something like $100, but it was kinna easy to find for ~$20. GIMP (uhh, GIMP) is free and except for a confusing file structure, is very similar to PS.
