Well after waiting and waiting and waiting, it still hasn't arrived from Play.com, so.... I took the sting (£) and went out and bought it from the High Street. I couldn't wait any more.

I'll have two copies but I promise to love them equally. :)

Sneaky - I had this too.

I rebooted after the install, redefined the HL path using the ctrl-shift-connect thingy and now all is well. Firing the game up on stand alone seems to work ok too.

I don't know if it's because I haven't hammed my conf.ini file yet, but 4.07 seems nice and smooth!

If you want to land use simply the airbrakes (!!!) for activating the semi-landing automatic. Use your throttle carefully for a slight descend at a max of 20 kph!

Yeah,

My first impressions are that it does seem to run if anything slightly smoother than 4.05. There are quite a few people over on the Ubi forums reporting big frame-rate drops (up to 25%) so I was ready to back off the sliders but so far so good. It is early days though.
