Fightin' Irish Goes Lock On...

Post by Podge » Thu Oct 19, 2006 8:51 am

Just to hopefully get some of youse to tag along on a few Lock On sessions sometime... it is way better online now than it was when it was released, and the graphics...*drool*
Anyhoo, I made a test skin just for fun, and here's the result.. and then a few pics of the flyable F/A-18 Blue Angel Hornet (though with the F-15 cockpit...)

Blue Angels (No advanced flying here.. just eye candy...hehe)

The F-15 Fightin' Irish skin... Have to say that I'm a wee bit proud over the airbrake design...

And of course you'll need tricoloured smoke...

Any idea when/if a Starforce free edition of Flaming Cliffs will be out?

Cool skins, I tried some but couldn't get them loaded back in game.

Huh?
Is it SF protected?...hehe... Well, I just burned my...hum...legal..*cough*... copy to a cd, and voila... Flaming Cliffs works like a charm. And it's way better and smoother than Lock On was before...
But I don't know if Ubisoft will release a SF free edition...:(

Hum... did you try to install them with LoMan or by just putting them as 24-bit bitmaps in the "temptexture" folder? If they're named correct, then you can use them ingame..:)

I was using LoMan. All Lock-on stuff is on semi permanent hold for me at the moment though. Might take another look after '46.
