Movies and Music

Post by AltarBoy » Fri Aug 11, 2006 11:50 pm

Say what's the latest flick and music you listened to?

I watched The Descent (Horror) and Blue Max(War) last night on DVD. Also I took in some Cannibal Corpse (Metal) but had to turn the volume down 'cause my neighbours called in an Exocist.

Watched 'The Lady in the Water' tonight. Its the new M Night Shamalayan film. It sounded so promising but it failed to excite me. Moments of brilliance, the scary parts do scare and the fantasy factor is well up there; Paul Giamatti's face is hilairious at times but overall pretty pants.

If anyone else has seen it please comment..

Apart from that Altar boy.. Too much music and films to begin to contemplate..

Good question there AB!

I hesitated to mention this movie cuz it might not be everyone's mug o'Michelob but ...

"The Aristocrats"

is one flippin' funny DVD!!!

It's over a hundred comedians telling the same joke.

Aristocrats? Haven't come across that yet. As for that Indian-born Director (whose name I can't pronounce much less spell) I saw the Village and it had a nice twist but he's too wierd for me. A pal unloaded a whole bunch of DVDs on me before he migrated to the UK. So for the rest of the year as well as next year I'll be glued to the PC screen.

Here's some of them:

Saving Private Ryan
Cross of Iron
An American Werewolf in London
Enemy At The Gates
Land of The Dead
Scary Movie 1,2,3 and 4
Star Wars
The Empire Strikes Back
Return of The Jedi
Dark City

That is indeed one flippin' funny DVD/Movie....

It was surreal to see Bob Sagat telling that joke. And he was revelling in it!

I think the last movie I saw was Clerks II. Funny, funny funniness.

Watched Blazing Saddles on DVD 2 nights ago, though...

Let me see, I can tell you what Raven is up to, or Zack and Cody, Arthur is having a bit of a time with DW still. Sponge Bob keeps me in stitches. This is the extent of my movie and tv watchings. Blue Zoo Train by Genoveve on Choo Choo Soul has a great beat, you can really move to it (actually it really does).

It's coming Snaphoo, get ready, I'd say you have about another year or so, see what you can while you can.

I dug up a CD called "The Cereal Killer Soundtrack" from some movie I suppose. Funny tracks like 3 Little Pigs. :D

Anything thats got Steve McQueen in it, also the old movies with Spencer Tracy and wots her name. The older films dont have things exploding all the time. Flying tiger hidden dragon is a corker also.

Oh, and anything with Jessica Alba :yumyum:
