Patch 1.22 Out!!

Post by Sapper-FIN » Tue Mar 28, 2006 5:38 pm

This time, there´s also a link for you ;)

http://www.battle.fi/download.php?id=516" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We're still hard at work on version 1.3, which will see the addition of some additional, sought-after changes. When we have more information to share with you on 1.3 we will, in the meantime, please find below the list of fixes in 1.22:

- Improved Server Stability
- Adjusted handling of the Tiger attack chopper
- Increased delay for aiming reticule when going from movement to prone on all support weapons
- Adjusted deviation on MG36 and PKM to be in line with other support weapons
- Increased rpm from 600 to 900 on the P90
- Fixed Lock on error on certain Oil towers
- Fixed a Great Wall Exploit
- Fixed exploits on Dragon Valley and Karkand

We would also like to take the opportunity to thank the Combat Studios beta testers who did a great job in testing Battlefield 2: Euro Force and this patch, thank you guys!

For those of you with Euro Force, please ensure that you have Euro Force installed before applying the 1.22 patch. If you install Euro Force after the 1.22 patch you will need to patch again afterwards.

Folks!

If you should have renamed the BF2.exe file to something different (e.g. BF21.exe) please chnage its name back to the original one. Otherwise you´ll mess up your BF2 installation!

If you should already have messed it up and you´re running WindowsXP please use the "System Restoring Point" just in order to get rid off the recently done BF2 patch 1.22 installation.

BTW, thank you for the hint, Sapper! How´s your IL-2 doing, mate?

^:)

Cheers Sapper... Wow, you're always very quick off the mark, I'm beginning to question your social life... ;) #

Found this on the BF2 site as well, it's an announcement of the sequel, Battlefield 2142:

"Can that thing fire?"

Why would someone wanna change that?

I´m just about to start the HL, and try if i get the same error messages, i got last sunday... I was supposed to do it as soon as i woke up, but i got carried away with BF2 ;)

I´m on a sick leave now (fever, and TERRIBLE flu) So, so i´ve got all the time...

Yeah

Well, we have a very active bf2 community in Finland, and everytime a patch comes out, we´ll be the first to know ;)

Well, for some reason the inner-game antialiasing didn´t work for me. I read on some German BF2 BB to rename the BF2.exe file just in order to use this graphic setting. I guess the BF2 executable isn´t sure what render mode it should use ...

Since I´m an ATI graphic card user I suppose the game is some kind of "optimzed" for NVidia cards ...

Gen "What the heck do I know?" osse ;C))

Do you still need them, or did you get that patch from somewhere else?
