the conf.ini file

Post by :FI:Falcon » Fri Dec 02, 2005 5:14 pm

since the 4.02 patch Nvidia users have been experiencing a loss of some of the conf.ini info; caused by a .ddl file somewhere.

One of those users is moi!

Um ...

could someone send a copy/post a copy to me/here so that I may copy and paste it to my conf file?

Thank you so furry much,

Well I am a Nvidea bunny... not noticed any missing bits from my conf.ini

Any specifics or are you succumbing to rumour mongering? If you just replace your existing one, aren't you just going to lose it again unless you fix the cause of the problem?

I'll pop it it a mail to you.

Thanks G,

Yeah, Joe (MagnumPC) says that's prolly the problem. The temp solution is to paste a new one, keep it saved somewhere. The FIX is yet to be found (by me).

Replacing the conf.ini file with a new one works, apparently it's only a problem with SLI set-ups. Oleg has mumbled something about a fix.

...

Maybe he should ask Unka Fen!
