Thanks Ru, but (hopefully) you ain't seen nuttin' yet. The total workover is going slowly but should be done this week sometime.
The 3d model is screwed up juuuust enough to prevent me from doing a perfect recreation and some half-way measures are being taken to get as close os possible.
After the dark green "White 2" I'll do a brown/dark khaki P.11 too.
And Mefisto ... I'm still not sure what's right on the checks, I'll just pass it by my two North/South Polian experts before I release it.

it is OK! Marvelous, Impressive and "Most Impressive", Great, Significant, Penguinish, Sheeppish or even Ferretish
I was only thinking about "chessboard" on the tail
Old one (-1993) had white "border" piece in top-left corner and bottom-rigth - brown one, Yours - green one is "rotated" - 90 degrees or mirrored
if we mirror/flip it we get it like this:
so if tail skin uses only e.g. left profile and mirror it to the other side...
on the one side of the plane's tail it will be old "szachownica" (chessboard) and on the opposite it will be new one - it is not that simple as with stars and circles

I've spent waaaay too much time on this template. It's time to wrap it up and sell it. I simply don't have enough time to make this as good as some of the better designers who post in the UBI forum.
All aspects of the template have been improved. I will balance the line weight and add a few more details and put a very light chip layer to it but it is essentially done.
If you'd like one the options are:
-squadron or historic (White 2) number,
-dark green paint (dark khaki or brown coming later),
-with or without squadron insignia between base of port struts or possibly on engine cowling,
-8.63 number changed to your membership date, (ex: 5.03 is May 2003).
I will apply the old FIS green paint design to the new template later.
Oh, and Mac and Mefi, let me know if those %^$#$& checks are correct!
gah!
Thanks everyone,
Falcon

PS: Macca, I'm getting some rejections from your E-mail too. I'll let you know if I'm having problems with other E-mails, but so far, yours is the only account that is not working all the time.

I KNEW there was a reason why I like these aircraft ...
ferrets!!!!
Yes they ARE ferrets and don't try to tell me otherwise,
I'm very delicate and could have a deep emotional episode.
From the Lodz Army Air Arm:
161 Eskadra Mysliwska - 161 Fighter Squadron
Commanding Officer: Capt. Wladyslaw Szczesniewski
Initial Strength: 8 PZL P.11c + 2 PZL P.11a
Enemy Aircraft Shot Down: 6
Enemy Aircraft Damaged: 3
Aircraft Lost: 9
Aicrew Lost: 2 killed, 2 wounded
162 Eskadra Mysliwska - 162 Fighter Squadron
Commanding Officer: Lt. Bernard Groszewski
Initial Strength: 10 PZL P.7a
Enemy Aircraft Shot Down: 8
Enemy Aircraft Damaged: none
Aircraft Lost: 9
Aicrew Lost: 3 killed, 1 wounded
From "History; Around the World"
"Given the enormous technical and numerical advantage of the Luftwaffe, these numbers show the excellent skills and determination of Polish fighter pilots, which they went on to prove in the Battle of Britain, and other campaigns on the Western front."
