Finnish Hurricane mk1
So i´m back in the skinmaking business, after spending a while making battlefield2 stat sigs
Finland bought hurricanes from Great Britain, in 1940. 13 Hurricanes served in FAF during WW2 (12 of them from GB, 1 captured from the russians)
It doesn´t look so good with those blurred swastikas, but hey, a law is a law..

Sure!
I´ll probably get it done, tomorrow..
Btw, how about the swastika-thingy? Do you want me to replace them with after-war FAF roundels, or should we go with historically accurate ones??

Are you sure about the ocean grey colour of the camouflage? all references ive got and looked at say that they were dark earth brown, a la hurricanes used in the BoB, with the finnish roundels and yellow ID markings over the top, and then some, or most were repainted in the finnish green/black colours
other than that it looks feckin' cosmique!

Thx!
Yeah, i saw this picture once about a hurricane in winter camouflage with grey in it... Usually they were painted in a way you descibed, though..
Finns started to use roundels only after the war, 1917-1944 we used swastikas..

Thx Macca!
It appears that il-2 can only "read" skins, that are exactly 1mb...
I´m lost here, any ideas?
As soon i get this little problem fixed out... You see, when i save that hurri-template to -bmp, it´s size should be 3mb, right? Well, for some reason, it´s 2,8mb... So when i run it through bright, bright doesn´t reduce it´s size to 1mb, it reduces it to 800kb or something like that...Can I have this cutie with no 78 and original markings -svastika?

"Whats the serial of the aircraft?"
The picture was taken from above it, so the serial didn´t show.. There was a text underneath it, stating that it was in a grey-green gamo, dont know for sure, am i using the right shade of grey.
At least it wasn´t this HC456, i just used HC456´s markings because of that funny looking arrow-thingy, under the cockpit [/quote]

Well I searched around and found this
same tail numeral, and on a black and white image the brown colour would appear grey.
