The wanderer has returned..

Post by :FI:Dex » Mon Feb 21, 2005 6:09 pm

Hi everyone it is time for me to return to the fold. Since I moved to Belfast in September I haven't had a well enough equipped computer to play Sturmo on-line... that is until now!

I just purchased a Radeon 9800SE graphics card which should allow me to play IL-2 again at last. It has been so frustrating as I have had a functionning computer and BB since Christmas but I couldn't afford the graphics card.

SO...I hope to be back on-line possibly tonight but more than likely the weekend.

Ok see youse guys again soon in the virtual skies at long last..

BRING IT ON..

:p

Still having a few problems mates..I proffered a copy of PF and have installed the mutha along with the appropriate patches BUT now..

I keep getting kicked out of servers for timing out, I think I need more memory. I met up with DS the other night on-line (was mighty pished I might add) and kept getting dumped out. SO frustrating!!!!

I'll need to get my thinking cap on or crack the wallet open one of the two..

hey Dex, how much memory are you currently running sir? i did notice we were able to play a few missions together but when i loaded that Finland map, i noticed you lost connection with me, which leads me to think you might not have enough memory, that map is a resource hog.
