The ongoing JG42 war
Folks,
today I received an invitation to a COOP session on next Sunday. The chaps of the Jg42 have set up a Moscow late 1941 COOP campaign and they are looking for active red pilots. If you like to know about this event take a look on their web site.
So, what do you think, folks?

Re: January 20th, 2013
tactics tactics
I16 should able to out turn the 109s crap guns though.
What about flying the I153 at tree top level ?
I can't make it but maybe agree to firs fly red then swap and fly blue ?

Hi chaps,
as I am the initiator of that Coop Campaign u r invited to,I would like to corrext upcoming rumors
regarding the planeset.
You can check the planeset on the map itself, provided in our forums, link already posted by Genosse.Although the I16 and I153 were the primary sov fighters at those times, these fighters are just some in the campaign, next to Mig3u,Yak1 or Yak7b and P40c challenging F2,F4 and E7.
F4 and Mig3u are just added by one flight.
The campaigns target is providing support for your ground troops which can be best achieved by fighter-bombers or bombers.

It's a Trap
"i will give thee a dog which i got in ireland. He is huge of limb, and for a follower equal to any man,Moreover, he hath a man's wit and will bark at thine enemy's but never at thy friends. He will see by each man's face whether he be ill or well disposed toward thee. He will give down his life foe thee. (The Icelandic Saga of Nial,c . AD 970-1014

Hi folks,
thanx for ya stay this evening.
Hope you enjoyed ya time.
You are welcome each evening again.
We start our next round at sun. 27/01/
again 20h meeting.
Actually Blue taught Red tonight how not to win a map.
Counting points, Red deffo won the missions.Congratz on that.
I am sorry for the connection failure, which ended our 2nd mission directly.
All planes in air up to that point were counted safty landed.
We updated the total stats, and the detailed single mission debriefing in our forum .Find the detailed ones below the map in our forum.
Donwload the played missions also from the detailed debriefings
The map below, is representing the front line up2date. Find a higher resolution map in our forums aswell.
Hope to see ya again next sunday.

Re: January 20th, 2013
Well I enjoyed it.
There were only 4 FI who took part - more would have been better - and DCG gives good missions as a rule.
First was a good one. I got involved in huge furball escorting Larry and Frank, managed to survive, they did their mission and shot down some blue bombers as well.
Second was not quite so good, but that have been the mission we chose flying I15's with ski's!!! Made it back to base though. I had some PC problems then and had to call it a night.
Think we would have struggled without Frank along as the mission briefs were in German, but with him there to point us in the right direction, great. Difficulty settings were OK - I would have prefered speed bar on just because I was flying planes I had not flown in a while with Russian dials, but that's a minor quibble.
I'd be happy to fly this for a few weeks on a Sunday.

Re: January 20th, 2013
I tried a little to get on but had TS issues and some difficulty joining. And because I have absolutly no patience with anything these days, I went to the pub. Maybe next time.
