Conman's Liberation of France skins:

Post by :FI:Falcon » Sun Jan 24, 2010 7:08 am

Get the Spitfire Mk. VIII's from the 145th SQ here. (WIP pic)

Get the Beaufighters here.

and the PBY here. (WIP pic)

I decided to provide A-F codes and a no-code option for both the Spits and the Beau's.

190A guys ... I might be able to do a few custom jobs by flight time. Let me know. Otherwise, fly your favorite ride.

Enjoy,

Yeah Snee, looks good. It's always good to come back to an old template and fix ... err, I mean tweak the layers a bit. Do you have any idea how to get rid of that huge bright ... wait! now it's darker ... area on the fore fuselage? If you look at the engine cowlings, some times the side sections are MUCH lighter than the top and at a different angle they are MUCH lighter. Anyway, this template could use a wee bit more ... adjustment, but it will never look perfect.

I can see you've improved it a bit. Send it on over to Conman. It can add some diversity ...?

Added layer for front panels - white fill - softlight @72-75%(placed under camo layers)
needs some shadow/dirt to blend join. Problem with the Mat being mirrored on RHS giving different direction for shine effect. I can see why the default skin was black on the PBY ;)

As for the tail end of fuselage... more warps than the Federation !

About as far as I can get with adjustments- main problem seems to be with AC shine effect on mat (yes even stock planeshine)
