Where I've been

Sorry Gents for not being online. Spookyruben and I have gotten addicted to EVE online. Oh well, I never could resist a space combat trading game.

Well, they cleaned it up. It's stable and looks nice on low end machines. The space combat is like "Star Trek" You lock somebody and shoot them. There are Lasers, Railguns, Blasters, Artillery, Torpedoes, Rockets, Anti Missile Missiles, Missiles, FOF Missiles etc.. Lots of ways to blow people up. But nobody seems to want to do anything. All they want to do is mine mine mine. That's why the economy is kind of buggered in it right at the moment. There are so many people making guns and ships, the prices are really low. Anyway, there is a free 14 day trial going on through gamespy for those who want to give it a shot online. http://www.eve-online.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; For more info. But there are pirate corperations that make thier money selling the loot from blown up ships etc. If that's your bag. Just don't be surprised when you see that everybody is in a battleship that was "given" to them by someone who stays in High Security Space all the time (we are talking MONTHS here). Anyway, the experience system is based on time. Not blowing up stuff. It's got so many layers to it, it's really hard to put everything into one post here. But the only things not really working right now are corperate tax rates and the Stock Market. But the inactivity is driving me nuts right at the momen, I see why people run off and start blasting other people.
Anyway, I'm taking off for a bit to Aberdeen tomorrow. I'll be in Europe for 8 weeks or so working on supply boats.
