Mare Nostrum Initial Impressions

Post by :FI:ZekeMan » Mon Mar 24, 2008 5:21 pm

Not sure how many of you have tried this out yet, but first impressions are somewhat dissappointing. Its still in the Beta version, so hopefully things will improve.

I am very unimpressed with the graphics, to begin with. No where near the caliber of stock RO or even what I've seen presented with Carpatian Crosses or Darkest Hour. They remind me of early MOH, very little detail, arcadish and unrealistic. AI troops are slow and dumber than a bag of hammers, even on hardest setting. Game play seems to take place in slow motion. All in all very uninspiring.

I agree - installed it and tried and uninstalled.

Waiting for the Darkest Hour, until then i'll stick with RO.

Is Darkest Hour to be released in April, or just Carpatian Crosses? Both look outstanding.
