No mate - Squadron, Platoon and Floatilla. [-X All based around the World War 2 era.

Not sure how BF2 would fit in as it is modern warfare, but I'm sure a WW2 mod will quickly appear on the scene.

Plus the occasional recreational gaming between individal mates like R:TW, etc... ;)

"The Illustrious"

Post by :FI:Genosse » Thu May 12, 2005 10:36 pm

These pictures have been taken from today´s online mission "The Illustrious" played by Cider, Dutchman and me ... enjoy them, folks! ;)

Image

Welcome to the Irish Sea where the Wolf Pack has to hunt down HMS Illustrious ...

Image

All of us gave ...

Image

... this huge fleet carrier ...

Image

... our tribute! ;)

Image

Simply nice sight, isn´t it?

Image

Then a depth charge hit Dutch´s sub directly ... there was no escape for him ... :(

Image

And also Cider ...

Image

... was soon a target!!!

Image

In this chaos - a/cs and incoming warships everywhere - ....

Image

... I took the chance ...

Image

... to send the Bogue Escort Carrier to hell! :)

Image

Mission accomplished!!!

BTW, if you like to play the Icebergs ahead! and The Illustrious missions aswell then you´ll find them here to download ...

Cheers! ^:)

Awesome! Will download the missions mate. Love the pics. First time seeing an aircraft carrier.

In my 6th Patrol and downed 6 planes, 1 fishing boat and 1 cargo vessel. Still got plenty of torps left - wish me luck gentlemen.

Definitely he's using the smoke mod mate. I now have that one, plus the sky, Das Boot crew members (plus theme song), and the one that put's English names and flags on the ID manual.

Finding compressed time a bit dangerous now as there is apparently a problem with the latest patch and sonarman/early warning detection. Hopefully will be fixed soon.

Certainly I have the correct thread!

Here's the screen for the second scenario ...

'gun running nuns'

That reminds me of a joke:

Three nuns are sitting on a park bench. A man wearing nothing but a trenchcoat walks over and flashes them. Two of the nuns have a heart attack but the third has a stroke.

Geddit?

A stroke!

Useless
"Can that thing fire?"
