Arma 2

Post by :FI:Sacktime » Sun Apr 01, 2012 7:09 pm

So has the mud mover FI mates moved on from Arma 2? I just got my desktop back with some upgrades and now I've been playing Arma 2 all weekend.

Be willing to go at the editor and come up with some 30 - 40minute missions;
Helicopter insertion
Night raids
Para drops
IED strikes

Not even attempting anything with mods at the moment so just stock Arma2, I also have the Arma2 Combined Operations version.

As well the latest Arma2 Patch includes features form the British addon
Arma2 Free fully multiplayer capable, limited to two maps.

Just tossing this out there.

Great I'll draft up a general theme for a few missions, we can add/drop ideas as we see fit. I was thinking an Afghan theme (I have some experience in this area) if we agree to Arma2 CO/OA or would like to stick with Arma2? No mods for now.

Stay tuned

Pat, Arma2 CO/OA is we all have, go with that. Any scenarios are welcome.

Been awhile,

I've just downloaded this mission from ArmaHolic

Insurgency in Takistan

No briefings, no hints. Players must find the Caches by accident or capturing a Guerrilla commander (They can be identified from a distance, they wear camo). I'd like to give this a crack co-op (I'm doing miserably lone wolf style). Not a mission that can be completed in one night for sure.

No mods required although it will work with ACE2 (So the author says). An opportunity for good team work. If interested, download it and give it a try, maybe we can set up a date and give it a try.

Ok, I've been cracking at the Zagrabad, I've been playing the single player with an AI squad, who are actually very useful. I think this is the one we should try the map is smaller and we can get into a fire fight real quickly.

And watch out for IED's they are very well placed. Got hit last night, lucky it was a small one and we all bailed but the HUMVEE was done, it was a fun walk out, back to the base.

So pick a day, I'm free most weekends.
