Armed assault coops

Post by :FI:Bluebell » Sat May 12, 2007 5:45 pm

Guys, I've made a set of three missions for Arma, loosely based on no particular event in history at all, but still jolly good fun.

The premise is, that we have been dropped off on the enemies coast tasked with taking out a high ranking officer, although we have other minor tasks before we get to the main event.

If anyones interested I'll be hosting from 18:30 my time on Tuesday 15/05/07

We have the 1.07, but I forgot one important thing, you need the mod "dry sahrani map ver.1.1" to play ( this mod helps those with lesser PCs), for some the standard sahrani map becomes a slide show so we decided to install this mod. Conrad, could you post a link to this mod please?

One other thing, myself and Greg(the ideas man) have tested these and apart from the first one have been roundly slaughtered, its no picnic, but if we have enough folk in the game it would certainly make a difference.

Sat around for a hour and a half, Conrad was having to re-install, Adam showed up and said he'd be back, but as I was working later I gave up.

Maybe we could try for this Thursday guys? If anyone can join let me know here.

No problem Frank, Greg had some issues with a bicycle then, so he had to rule himself out. I'll see you then.

Well, after talking to Conrad today on TS, I found the wee beta icon in the ArmA folder and finally got on-line w/1.07 beta. I had installed it over a week ago but I only saw v1.06 in the game.

Ready, I hope, when youze guyz are.

We're planning on having a coop session on Thursday next (16/10/08), making the missions now, so we should have a choice on the day. As rules requested we're making daylight ones. We'll have at least eight places.
