Let's Roll...

Post by :FI:Moog » Fri Nov 19, 2004 5:00 pm

How's about we all agree to get together in some serious numbers once or twice over the next few days to train with a view to taking on another clan next weekend? Things have been pretty quiet lately... and with the release of 3.01m they're probably likely to stay that way ;)

I'll probably be on tonight, and on Sunday night too.

Does anyone have contact with another clan who would give us a good fair match? Or failing that a bad dirty one? :)

Hi Moog

Good to see you again tonight

[SNAFU] are a pretty friendly bunch and a tad good. I think they play in the britleague ladder.
I can usually be found there if ole Dutch's server isnt running.
Or the Blackwatch clan are pretty good for a laugh too.

I think we should deffo have to try and get a bunch of us practicing S&D one night soon as for me deathmatch is a bit tedious after a while as personally I prefer an objective to complete.

Salute

Roger that Stovies... I hadn't played CoD for about three weeks before tonight (I have GTA: San Andreas to thank for that), plus I was drunk and hungry. That's why your bullets were so attracted to me! :)

Let's get rolling on Sunday night with some S+D maps. Could we call a vote or get an RSVP or something, to try and confirm that people will be in attendance?

Let's say 20:00 GMT onwards, how would that suit?

Sunday evening doesn´t work for me ... I´ll loiter around then with our squaddies ... any other day, mayhap?

Agreed, mate! I´m also good for some kills/getting killed virtually while accomplishing a mission. And it´s always a pleasure to get killed by you, mate! ;)

I hope L.F will get COD/UO soon ... he´s a damn good killer aswell ...

S&D missions

Post by :FI:Dutchman » Sat Nov 20, 2004 3:58 pm

Hi Stoov and Moog

On Sunday/wednesday evening we fly around in PF but any other time is ok

for example tonight .
about the missions you can call a vote any time in the game and choose the mission you like S&D Team Deadmatch Behind enemy lines and so on.

Press esc and go to vote there you can change maps and game types.

I only use Deadmatch for default because in this setting my cfg stays steady, If i use S&D for default sometimes the server timed out because the game will be draw or tie, if nobody connect within the gametime (in this case 40 min)
if i set it on deatmatch i do not have this problem.

so any platoonie can call a vote any time a gametype or other map, in the game if they get bored with a certain map/gametype.

tonight my server will be on again so be my guest

Dutch

I didn't get home until late last night, too late to play at all... I was in foul humour because I'd been looking forward to playing CoD/PF all weekend! :)

So Sundays and Wednesdays are the PF nights, that's cool. I could sure use some practice. Mind you, since they neutered the F4U1-C's cannons, it's gonna take me a LOT of ammo to bring anything down (even something that's ALREADY on the ground!)

For me personally a weeknight would suit better than Friday or Saturday for some CoD training. Sunday and Wednesday are nicely spaced out as it is so if we were to bump another night onto that schedule I'm sure that those of us with significant others wouldn't hear the end of it for awhile!

So maybe we can just agree training days one or two days in advance for a while before we find our feet.

First call then: would tonight or tomorrow night suit ye?

Play It Cool

-Moog

PS: Dutch I couldn't fix my Thompson problem so tonight will see me attempt a full reinstall including mods and maps... I hope it works - I love that little gun!
