I could work for GEICO

Well I got COD to work on my new PC. I needed to adjust some of the 3D feature settings for the graphics card, mostly those involving OPENGL and file extensions….I think. Not sure what all the settings mean, there are several "techy" sounding options, but via trial and error, I changed...

Lookin Good

I like that Dark Green on Light Green camo treatment for sure Falc ol boy. Adding a few FI yellow/green embelishments and such just might do the trick, IMHO. I, a johnny come lately with this noble endeavor for which I appologize, like the idea of providing some way for individual pilots to add thei...

Camo Anyone?

How about some kinda FI camoflage scheme, a faded dirty green and yellowish pattern? Or something like that?

These skins you all have done look way cool for sure, wish I knew how to do that now, I'd help out if I could. I have PSP9 on my PC, but am still learning how to use it.

Thanks Amigo

thanks Helo, I'll check to see if the error message has a details or more button. I have United Offensive installed now. Didn't say what features, but it did suggest upgrading the driver for the GPU...however, I have the very most current one installed now, as of yesterday. I will uninstall and rein...

Situation

I believe I installed patches for COD up to 1.4 or 1.5. I'll need to check on that. It works just fine with COD2.. and PF/IL2/AEP 1.04m (haven't installed to 1.05m yet as I need to find my installation code to do so. Not sure if there is a patch out there I haven't found yet. I have also installed B...

COD and EN7950 GX2 Error Message?

When I start my newly installed COD (not COD2) sim on my newly built PC with an ASUS EN7950 GX2 card and AMD dual core 4000+...I get an error message saying my video card is missing features needed by COD. :!: :!:  :( I have the very most up to date driver installed for the GPU. I can run COD2...

Wireless and Cable

Thinking about the wireless so Jane can access the internet when I am (not when I'm gaming though). My gaming PC would be hooked up via a cable, Jane's via the wireless thingy. I'm interested in having a hardware firewall mostly, and making our printer, scanner available to both PC's.. all that sort...

Not online yet

Not back as quick as I thought,

Personal life got in the way of getting connected again, but I'm about to resolve that.

Thinking about getting a hardware cable/wireless router/firewall.

Any thoughts on that?

Sneaky & Tactical & Napier

Guys, How would you allocate what you did to a single Western Digital 10,000 rpm, 150 GIG HD? Perhaps I should buy one more HD, if so, what should I get? Don't think I want to buy more than 2 HD's... I like your approach because it appears to provide additional protection from internet attacks. I ma...

Will Be Back Soon

My new PC components will arrive this week so I can get to work building it. I dropped out as you may recall due to some virus related issues with my PC. :( I started to clean it up, and decided this would be a good time to go get that monster gaming PC I've been thinking about building. :) I may ne...

slew sucks

Yes I have noticed the slewing effect when firing , at least with the spitfire. Not sure if it happens with axis planes. It is unrealistic and frustrating to say the least. Guess you have to input some rudder every time you shoot. Would it help to turn off one or more of the "reality" sett...
