the ending of a TV icon... StarGate, SG-1

yeah, the idiots at Sci-Fi and MGM are about to end SG-1's fantastic ten year run...even though the show is STILL a highly rated top performer. they cite cost factors and a slight dip in ratings. yet their pet project, the super expensive Battle Star Galactica is the REAL poor shower, and the altern...

I'm afraid Beo, if she is right, you have been selected as a beta tester. So, all these strange goings-on are just those greater than we, and their squirrel relatives, working the nuts out of the UbermegaHimmelserver scheduled to go gold, or is that pearl?, in about ... uh, two weeks. Falcon hmmmm,...

a new tale in Forever Combat for you Irish lads!

Yellow Wolf Running In White Snow, by Lynnon Bullman: In the mid-1950s, an old rancher rides into the Crying Sqaw Mountain Range after an old, yellow lobo that's been attacking his stock---fully intending to kill it. Yet in a duel to the death with a savage pack of grey wolves, the old lobo saves hi...

exactly, Fal. this is especially true for people from Tennessee (where the Memphis Belle got its great name.)

for instance, we Tennessee lads walk around (and take off) all the time with HUGE, HEAVY, brass spheres between our legs. no problems there!

yeah running over the top of a burning zeppelin... cmon.... really :x-mas: actually, it "could've" happened. zeps were rigid/semi-rigid airships with very STRONG internal frames, and the material of the ship's outer skin was certainly strong enough (imagine just HOW strong it had to be to...

an amazing view of "wrongness" and mistakes combined into an accident that acutally left everyone alive. usually, those sorts of things are fatal to someone. what i found interesting too were the comments of the people frequenting the movie clip's site. everything from logical, thou...

Gods of the Sand, by Lynnon Bullman: In 1920, a mysterious bit of broken tablet found at a dig leads a large university expedition out into the blazing sun and sand of Egypt on a quest for priceless artifacts and or great treasure. Will they find that fame ...
