Re: Bessarabia - Development
-In my experience a FW190A-6 has little to worry about with an La5F. Faster at all altitudes unless low and slow the 190 can simply disengage at will. The early P-51 ( which flew at Bessarabia )matches the A-6 well (which apparently didn't) and why you often see them matched together in servers, eve...

Re: Bessarabia - Development
Well Gen I could add a enemy captured Bf109G for ya only ;) :D Thanks for the offer Nephris but we captured a Hs 123 from Moscow and told Frank it is his exclusively from now on. 8) Regarding the proposed planeset, both sets are workable. Flying USAAF aircraft would be nice I feel and likewise I ca...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
When I get bored I shoot my teammates, they are so trusting At least you do a honest kill. Better than the other scots man on the team who chases other peoples kill to the ground in the hope of putting a few bullets in and claiming the kill for themselves (even when the wings are gone....) =FI=Ramb...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Just a suggestion to Keben. When I get bored I shoot my teammates, they are so trusting. Nobody complains much because they can get a beer and I've increased my kills in Eamonns stats.

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Sorry to here about that Zahl. I don't think Keben or the JaVA come on here much if at all but if they are flying Sunday I'll pass on your concerns. Hopefully there might be an explanation. Rather like when I got 'hot under the collar' having been vulched in a static plane your explanation of what t...

Agreed.:FI:Nellip wrote: if Nephris wants to do Bessarabia and he is the one doing all the work, then so be it.
If you boys want to fly this map this PDF might be useful to read-

Re: HSFX not working
Thanks for the imput guys.
I can only think it was adding 4.12.1 or perhaps the sound mod even? and that I didn't disable all in JSGME before applying.
Anyhoo I'll try reinstalling. I have little storage left on my SSD so JSGME is the best solution for me.

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Good idea Nellip on point 2. Never thought of that move the best planes further away rather than eliminate them. That way re-supply doesn't have to be altered by the host to keep fighter pilots happy in the rides of their choice. Personally that event made me think why bother to target human fighter...

HSFX not working
Not that I'd be bothered but Sundays require it. Looks like something I've done has buggered HSFX.
4.11, 4.12 and 4.12.1 all OK though but when I choose the mod in JSME all I get is 4.11. I was planning to reinstall HSFX and hope the other versions would remain in the JSME Mods folder.
Any advise?

4.12.1 sound mod
Apparently 4.12 allows mods to sounds without changing it from being seen as a stock copy.

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
given our penchant for no organization, (which I do not want trifled with) We as the FI need to discuss this amongst ourselves. While in general we are not well organised if we are going to be fighting an online war we need to be organised, have people assigned to fighters, ground attack, strategic...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
The idea of agreeing on an even planeset and scenario is a good one but I wouldn't discount a limited time map as Nephris suggested but have a big advantage to the attacking side. To help explain lets say using the map we are on now we had a time limited objective where blue has to capture a town ne...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Thanks for replying Graf, your post has lots of common sense. I wasn't sure to bring this up but I am glad I did as it feels better to know the pilot mistook me for a static. The forum helps clear these thing up.
