Well, I seem to have it working...don't ask me how.... lol I"ve been putzing around with ROF offline...and have the graphics boosted up some. so looks good.

I don't have a problem with updating, as long as it dosn't result in a bug preventing me from running the program... When I update it, I keep getting a "settings" related error that stops the game from running... I will reduce all the graphics and sound settings to the lowest level and see...

I was able to get the ROF launcher up, but it stops me from starting as it apparently requires me to upgrade before it will run... I'll check the graphics settings. I have a current very capable video card, but my other hardware is a few years old but kinda beefy.. Will continue to try to get it to ...

Yes, I did the Direct X reinstall amigo... There appears to be a bug that may associated with all the add on packages and the core program language functionality. Actually, I found on a forum that the files are not the right ones for most servers and have to be replaced. There is a link for those server friendly files that you have to replace yours with. I'm unable to get my COD4 to start up in multiplayer if I have patched it to 1.4 or even now to 1.5 due to a "code_post_gfx..... whatever file mismatch with the server. Have searched the internet a lot and not found a solution. Did not buy this from steam as some did, got it from a local store....

Is it possible to set up a calendar for sessions with all info needed to participate, pe rhaps requring membership status in order to access the calendar?

Might make it easier to find or set up a session and then get connected quicker?
