Dude, you mean to tell me you're not using a mouse+keyboard to fly? OMG, n00b! I bet you don't even reverse the vertical axis! ;) I have an X-52 and for me it's just about the perfect setup but I agree about the twist rudder... as soon as I have some money to burn I think I'll check out the new Sait...

Sorry I missed the flying tonight but I was learning an important lesson for the 50th time: if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it!!!! On Saturday afternoon I tried to reposition my CPU heatsink fan for better cooling but when I turned the computer on it wouldn't even POST, let alone boot up. I frea...

@Rules: Absolutely, send me more detailed info about your motherboard and RAM and I'll see what I can come up with. @Falcon: IL-2, is that better than the first one?? ;) If I'm not there on Friday I will be on Sunday! @Mutz: Wow, that's almost exactly the same as the one I put together, same case an...

Greetings from the new computer! Took a couple of hours to set up but worked first time, much to my relief. It's still settling down although I'm currently clocked at 3Ghz without any problems and it's running cool. Gonna install some games this evening and finally see what IL-2 looks like at max se...

Hey Dutch, put your glasses on mate, things might get a bit technical here, but might save you some money as well ;) The Core 2 Duo and P4 with Hyper Threading have very different architectures and cannot be directly compared by clock speed. A clock speed of 2.13Ghz on the E6420 *roughly* translates...

Ah I remember those days! My first (and only) homebuilt system was a P4 2.6Ghz with a 9800Pro... same system today but the 9800 crapped out back in January so I got an nVidia 6800XT. For the new computer I gave myself a budget of €1200: even with an OEM copy of Vista Home Premium 64-bit, the ful...
