Utterly absurd

You cannot read that text without hearing a cheesy pseudo-russian accent...Oleg needs to be tortured, truly, to get an answer out of him. 'Interview' is the incorrect term for a man who is desireous of an interpreter. cheerz ~S~

:FI: Book Review: 'In Harm's Way'

If you remember the 70's movie 'Jaws', you may recall Robert Shaw's memorable monologue about the USS Indiannapolis and the horrendous carnage that ensued after a Japanese sub (I-58) attacked and sunk her July 30th, 1945. Ironically it was R. Shaw's last movie, but I still recommend the book if anyo...

A chick in our squad?

I guess it's o.k.- concidering that the russians were the only airforce in WW2 to allow female combat pilots. Are you a Night Witch, Kitty? I dont know if we're cool enough to have a girl here; maybe we all need to get that "poseur 6" software.....

Anyway, welcome back!

Hey, DR.!

The subject is not what you were initially asking for, however the topic- German POW's in America, I find fascinating as there is so little interest in the ouvre. "The Faustball Tunnel" by John Hammond Moore, Bluejacket books. Over one thousand German POW's escaped U.S. captivity 1942-1946...

Thanks, Tact!

This is one of those rare opportunities where I will drop my joystick, hehe, to play this game. I read about the software that randomizes individual soldiers; not only thier uniforms, but their individuated movements! Those system requirements are nothing short of BRUTAL, however. I've got SLI, so, ...

Silent Running

Is actually one of the only movies portraying Bruce Dern as protagonist; he's so often cast as the 'badguy', but If your'e interested in seeing him as a total creep, rent "The Cowboys" with John Wayne. incredible. (Cannibal Corpse [The Bleeding] playing in backround..)

Welcome, Hodge Podge, to the Lodge!

As long as AYUMI is into beer, (even asahi) wainscotting and Gingham knickers, your set. It looks like we missed you on our Sunday co-op session, unfortunately. Dust off that plantronics headset and head on in- I think we have an S.A. (Smiley's Anonymous) meeting next week in our 'off-topics' forum-...

GuadalupyurCanal, et. al.

Firstly, I'd like to thank Greg (Rab) and Vin (Ardmore) for creating this series of motivating missions. Both have worked long and hard on not vacuuming their respective flats for our enjoyment. The lag was peculiar, but it sounds as if things have been cleaned up (airstart, less players..) Looking ...
