Scam call Centres - IMPORTANT!
I had a call this morning purporting to be Talk Talk call centre. It sounded very authentic (general background hunun and thick Punjabi accent) and warned of someone trying to use my connection. When I asked my security question, "what's my IP" the caller had no idea what I was talking abo...

Last shooter I tried was BF3. Spent more time waiting on server than actually playing it . Probably totalled 3 hours in all. It will probably remain my last shooter too. Hearing mixed feedback on The Division. Waiting on Black Desert Online for the next sword and sorcery MMO and possibly Star Citizen.

Re: What do you think of this free alternative to TeamSpeak?
Some pros and some cons. I play MMOs with PRX guild. They tried it recently but have decided to stick with TS3. I did log in though had no mic to test, but could hear some conversation, albeit quietly. IMO you can do all that it really offers in TS including file sharing, but to use discord while gam...

Someone on Facebook linked a bootleg from the venue where I used to do lighting. Cleaned it up a little.
(god they were loud, our ears would ring for 2 days if we didnt plug some tissue in them!)

Re: Windows 10
I suspect there's been some changes to microsoft's Direct X downloads to accommodate W10. Just re-installed W7 after a crash and couldn't get a decent working DX install. OK so after getting numerous duds from microsoft, or diverted to W10 download pages (they know where they can stick it!) Tom's ha...

Re: Reporting back!
Suppose it's a bit late now, but the trick is to install IL2 4.12.2 + HSFX, and then add the 4.13patch in a folder in the JSGME mod switcher. Just these 2 files- http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f18/Don_X/4.13%20as%20mod_zpsgvrrsxs3.png The rest of the patch goes in Il2 root folder.

Re: Reporting back!
For Il2 HSFX or 4.13 seem most common in Hyperlobby.
Cliffs of Dover with ATAG mods is excellent.
BOS seems flavour of the month, but I'm not so enthusiastic about it. Perhaps it's all that snow.
