Question to all you actual pilot types...
How do I go about making a coordinated turn? I've noticed some really good things since getting my pedals, but that silly ball-thing is all overthe place in my turns when it wasn't before. Other than practice, which I obviously need, what should I look for (or do) to maintain a nice smooth turn? Tha...

Joystick Drivers...
OK, here's the "funny thing that happened on my way to play this sim" story for today... So, last night, I was finishing putting my desk together and decided to put the drivers for the X52 and the "Pro Pedals" on my PC. I figured I'd disable the configuration software, as I've he...

It's odd, because I don't remember this happening previous to this release but one of my wings dip constantly. I thought it was somehow related to the pedals, but I'm not sure. I used to be able to fly fairly level, with minor adjustments. I calibrated my joystick prior to heading to bed, but I didn...

I have pedals!!!
Now, how do you fly with these things? I was having some trouble with my X45 anyway (dead space in the y travel), so I picked up the X-52 and the pedals. They seem to work. The only trouble is, I can't seem to fly now. :( I've cartwheeled more landings and take offs today than I'd care to talk about...

Interesting answers all. Many thanks... I've always thought it held some sort of benefit, otherwise it wouldn't have been used for as long as they have. I also found interest in the number of answers concerning tight formations. They are fun to look at, and I figured that their only real use was ove...

Formation flying?
What is it good for? Really... I'm asking as someone who's always marvelled at people who could fly, in a sim or real air, at a constant speed and at a certain distance from a few other fellow flyers in some sort of pattern or formation. But... Is there a reason for any of this tactically speaking? ...
