My F1 is the default 'no cockpit view' I will have a look tonight when I have dispatched the young Scott nippers to bed.

I'd go for a Sounblaster Audigy (I have an Audigy2) I've personally never had a problem with a Soundblaster card, they always install easily and do a decent job. If you're moving up from either on-board sound or another soundcard remember to remove the software/drivers of whatever you are replacing ...
